Custom Sizing & Alterations

We here at One Ocean Swimwear are proud to offer custom sizing and extended fit options to help you feel confident and supported in your swimwear. To better understand how we tailer each piece to your needs please read below for more details on alterations, extended sizing and custom samples.

Key Details:

• Torso length & arm measurement adjustments for one pieces and Hammerhead do NOT require alteration fees but will be considered altered items and final sale.

• Approval is needed before ordering (inquire by submitting form linked here and submitting form via chat box) *to digitally fill out on a mobile device, save to files*

• Additional fees apply

• Samples not required but recommended to verify alterations

• Extended sizing available 2X-6X

• All alterations are final sale items 

 

Alterations: We offer select alterations to our existing designs only.

Alterations include: 

• Additional straps
• Modification of coverage
• Full bust adjustments
• Blended sizing
• Any other changes to the original cut

 

Alterations Start at $15+ and will vary depending on the complexity.

Alteration Profile: Your unique alteration will be saved on file, allowing you to re-order with the same adjustments in the future. Repeat orders with the same alteration qualify for a discounted rate of the alteration fee.

*Every style will require its own alteration fee (Meaning if you order more than one top and want each altered, they will each incur their own separate fee.)

 

Extended Sizing: We offer select designs in extended sizes 2X–6X.

Final Sale: All extended size swimwear is final sale, regardless of whether it’s made from the size chart or custom measurements.

 

Sampling (not required but recommended)

To verify alterations are going to work for you we are now offering samples. Samples cannot be purchased without also purchasing a custom-sized suit. 

How It Works: To request sample sizing, you’ll fill out a detailed measurement form linked here. In some cases, photos may be requested to help assess fit. You will get to keep the sample that was made per your alterations.

Sampling Process: A sample piece (mockup) will be created using your personal alterations in a fabric of our choosing to test the fit before creating your final swimsuit.

Timeline: Samples follow our standard production timeline plus one additional week.

Sample Fee: Custom sizing samples start at $35 and are non-refundable.

Final Sale: All custom-sized swimwear is final sale. Exchanges are not permitted.

 

Refunds & Exchanges

• Custom-sized pieces, including altered or extended sizing suits, are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
• Exchanges are only considered when standard sizing is ordered without alterations.
